What is the annual health review included with the package?

Each year, AccessGP Plus members are entitled to a dedicated health review appointment. This is a focused consultation where your GP discusses your overall wellbeing, lifestyle factors, and any ongoing conditions. It helps you track progress, review results, and plan for the year ahead. This can be booked by contacting us through the member dashboard to arrange your review.

Can I sign up for just a few months?

How does the Fair Use Policy work?

Your AccessGP Plus plan includes unlimited online GP appointments, guided by a simple Fair Use Policy so everyone can be seen quickly. Members can book up to eight consultations a month (normally one a day if needed), which is far more than most people ever use. This keeps same-day access open for everyone while still offering excellent value and flexibility compared to paying per visit.

How many appointments can I book in a day?

One active booking per day for fair use and clinical safety.

Can I switch back to pay as you go?

Yes. Cancel membership in your dashboard, then use the £55 booking link any time. You health information remains secure and accessible to your AccessGP through any form of booking with us.

Can I use AccessGP Plus for long-term conditions?

Our service is designed to support ongoing care and general medical advice. However, we do not replace specialist or hospital-led management for complex or long-term conditions. Your AccessGP doctor can advise, review test results, and provide follow-up, but will recommend in-person care where clinically necessary. Our GPs are all GMC-registered and adhere to NICE clinical guidelines ensuring safe, evidence-based care every time.

Can you prescribe controlled medication?

No. For safety and compliance, AccessGP does not prescribe controlled drugs or medications that require face-to-face monitoring, such as strong painkillers, sedatives, or ADHD medication. Your GP will discuss safe alternatives and guide you on next steps if such medication is clinically indicated.

What should I do in a medical emergency?

AccessGP is not an emergency service. If you believe your condition is serious or life-threatening, call 999 or attend your nearest Accident and Emergency department immediately. For urgent but non-emergency concerns, you can contact NHS 111. If your situation changes while waiting for an AccessGP appointment, you should seek urgent medical help through these routes.
